In response to questions I have been receiving from students recently who are curious to know the exact amount they are paying as tuition fee in current semester, I therefore decided to shed more light on the matter in the group for us to be generally aware.

First of all, I wouldn't advise you to guess the amount you are to pay at the bank through remita, for some reasons I won't mention in this article.

Secondly, if you want to know the amount, please do two things that I certify:

1. Go to your study centre and ask the *bursar* the amount you are meant to pay for this semester (stating your level and department). E.g *BSc Biology 400L, First Semester*

2. Ask a reliable colleague who is:

✅ either in the same level and department, or

✅ a fresh graduate in the same department or a person in your department but ahead of you and is current

Thirdly, asking anyone who is not in the right position to provide adequate answer might result in lapses.

Figuratively, let's give NOUN what it takes to be on the safer side. Obviously, I know some fee breakdown that is for, my department and the levels I have passed but not for all students because *it is only the bursary unit that is authorised to announce to students the amount they are required to fund into their wallet for registrations as the fees change.*

Also, having your faculty handbook might be of great help too if you know how to calculate it. The reason for this message is due to the fact that I don't want you to think I am trying to ignore your messages if I don't respond to such request on time.

Thanks, have a beautiful Tuesday.
